Vintage 1930s Czech Blue and Black Tango Glass Vase, Applied Rim Hot Glass Windings

Vintage 1930s Czech art glass vase in a striking blue and black tango palette, attributed to Welz or Kralik. Known as “mono‑coloured” or “tango” glass, this technique was developed by Loetz around 1914 and became a hallmark of Czech glass design through the 1920s and 1930s.
This example features a flared, wavy black rim and four applied black hot‑glass windings around the neck — classic elements of early Czech production. The vase is signed Made in Czechoslovakia on the base; the mark is extremely faint and only visible when the light hits at the right angle, which is typical for pieces of this era.
The glass is vibrant and glossy, and the vase is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
