A striking pair of 1960s Spanish damascene cufflinks featuring a geometric floral star motif framed by delicate silver‑tone granulation. The square faces show crisp gold‑on‑black inlay with excellent contrast and strong mid‑century design language. The slight variation in gold tone around the central star is typical of artisanal damascene work and part of their handmade character.
The mechanism differs from earlier chain‑link styles, aligning these with 1960s Toledo production, when workshops transitioned to more modern hinged or angled backs. Unsigned, as most workshop pieces were, but clearly high‑quality craftsmanship.
